This is gonna be a long post (but it's got pictures and linkies!)
Today I finally had some time to talk with my long-term intern. Up until now I simply put him to work so I could focus on the Xmas project;) Turns out he's a big fan of Harry Potter plus Buffy and Angel. Wahey! I got an e-mail from the bossman asking if we could save the enthused chatter for breaktime. *huffs* Aaaaaanyway, we talked about both series, the books and the films, it was fun. ( But then he mentioned Dumbledore... )

The little relapse seems to be not as minor as I had hoped. Moving around after sitting down was a bitch, especially this morning. But I kept going and during my walk at breaktime, I found a lovely new cardigan to give me comfort. Mmmmm. Also: it has been very cold this week, so I got to wear my very pretty, very colourful scarf again. Want to see pictures of my cuddly clothes?

Ever since The Marathon Of Soaking Wet Men I've beenobsessed by looking for Hornblower-fanfic. Some time ago I finally stumbled upon the most marvelous archive. And last weekend I read the best story/chapter so far. Even if you don't know anything about the original books or TV-films, it's worth a read, because it's so very beautifully written. I highly recommend the whole Laurel and Rose series, but you should all definitely read this part:Home And Away Just in case you need some visual encouragement, I'm posting a truckload of screencaps of main characters Horatio Hornblower and Archie Kennedy. ( An introduction in pictures (and a summary of the story so far; )
