I'm overdosing on licorice

As I predicted I now suffer from the barking cough. It is not a pretty sound. And of course I have a long weekend off to enjoy it. Wahey. I had planned to go to Amsterdam for some holiday-shopping today, but it's probably best for me and other people if I stay inside. So this morning I hugged the couch and watched my Daltons DVD (OH, how I wish you could all enjoy this Dutch series about four brothers - a follow up from the 1999 kiddie-series with the same actors, who are now in their teens) ( Guess who's my favorite )

For the afternoon I moved behind my 'puter to catch up on last week's Daily Shows. *ruffles Jon Stewart's hair*.
If I'm up for it, I might make time to finally finish all my bookreviews. If I don't I can totally use the excuse of being sick, right? *coughs some more*
