Monsters
Do you remember how to open the Monsterbook of Monsters? I didn't know I needed to use the same technique on that nifty Ipod I was given. I tried to push the buttons, clicking like a madwoman while cursing and getting dangerously close to throwing the damn thing away. I spent most of my weekend figuring this out: to make it work, I need to stroke it gently. Lesson learned.
I'm bored. Hanging-on-the-couch-and-do-nothing-bored. So I just forced myself to get up and post something. Anything.
There was a discussion on tv about whether Deep Throat can be shown on public television. Two tv-organisations plan to show that porn-classic on February 23, right after a special edition of 'Spuiten & Slikken' (Shoot-up and Swallow) - a (regular) live talkshow for young adults about sexuality and drugs. The idea is to have an educational and informative talk about porn beforehand.
The Christian party in parliament wants to put a stop to the plan. I think they will fail. Because politicians are not the ones that decide what is shown on tv.
I'm not sure if I want to see it, but as you know I'm against censorship and prefer people to make up their own mind. I wonder if they have the documentary Inside Deep Throat planned as well. From what I've read about it, it puts the original film in quite a different perspective.
At the moment I have something entirely different on in the background: a program inspired by the movie '40 Days and 40 Nights'. A group of young adults has pledged to go without sex for that amount of time. That's including masturbation. Oh dear, I think someone failed. Quelle surprise.
