Also: I finished part one of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials. I'm still not comfortable with the talking animals (and the 'daemons') but I will continue in part two. Must admit to liking the action-scenes.

I have to say, that's one of my favourite things about Lyra's world. I wish I had my own daemon.

Ah, but you see, I LOVE being alone. Pets would get on my nerves. And my soul demands enough attention even without having a physical form;)
