I love reading everyone's answer and do the exact same thing with the ages; it's awesome to find out I'm not the only "old" fangirl. *grins*

I avoid indulging in stroopwafels, but they are seriously one of the best Dutch inventions. You can buy them superfresh at the market, where they will bake a supersized version while you wait and they come out hot and soft, mmmmm.
When I get the stroopwafel icecream, I combine it with mini-stroopwafels that I put in the microwave for a couple of seconds. It's a divine combination.
(If you ever come over, that will be dessert;)
