Land of Art: Phase 12 - Challenge 0, 1&2
Ack, I discovered I still didn't update all my old Land of Art posts with sources and fonts; I've tagged those with 'pip' for 'post in progress', just in case you were wondering about that;)
In order to keep up with posting, I'm keeping the posts for the new challenges as simple as possible; I do want to share a bit of the Making Of process, but I don't want to spend more time on that than on the actual making of the graphics.
Don't hesitate to ask if you want to know more about how I put things together.
Now, without further ado, here are my creations for the first couple of challenges.
The PreChallenge
Before we can start the Hide & Seek Challenge everyone needs to submit categories to play with. I chose to offer CSI. This is the banner I made:

I used a screencap and logo I have from my own huge CSI collection (Credit to CBS:).
Challenge 1: Promotion Banners
I made two banners for this, that I will use on all my platforms to promote Land of Art.
I posted the big banner in my previous post, this is a alternative small version with focus on text:

Fonts
Title: Brushed by Pizzadude.
URL: Harting by David Rakowski.
Slogan: Finlek by The Nothern Block Ltd.
I created the island in the background myself.
The CMYK circles are referring to offset print colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK), a theme I also played with for my team icon and sigtag (see below:).
Challenge 2: Sigtags & Icons
Sigtags (signature tags) are banners that we use in Land of Art to accompany new artwork. Last year I was in team SteamPunk, this year I moved to team PopArt, so I got to make all new designs:)

Do you recognize these actors? (Reveals below:)

Sources & Fonts
CMYK sigtag and icon set:
Source: CMYK raster eye image from Polish printer Raster.pro.
Font: Sugar
Amy Adams sigtag:
Source: Photoshoot for Marie Claire, april 2016 - Photographs by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, Styling by April Hughes (shoes by Miu Miu)
That kid in the mirror is... Christopher Walken!
Source: Photoshoot of 12 year old Christopher Walken found at Fubiz.net; not one site credited a photographer for this photoseries, but Walken's 1955 resume shots were made by Murray Korman, so maybe he did that set as well.
Fonts Amy & Christopher:
team = Alyssum Blossom by Bombastype.
Popart = ALPACA54;
Name = Autumn Moon (edited)
TextOnly sigtag
Font: Tattoo Ink by Ryan Splint.
UnicornSkeleton:
Source: Made from the image of an iron on patch by Grindstore.com.
Fonts: Name + Pop = Wildwest by Bagas Ardiatma (Trustha); ART = Cooper Black
I'd love to hear what you think! Want to play in Land of Art too? Check out my promopost:) [DW]
