I'd tell you more, but I'm still tired
I finally went to Amsterdam yesterday. I had planned to do a movie-marathon of all the films I still needed to see, but unfortunately they either weren't playing anymore or they were programmed too late for me to be able to return home afterwards. But I decided to go to the big city anyway, because there was at least one shop I needed to go to and I had to buy presents for two co-worker-birthdays. I also thought I could do with a bit of moving around instead of sitting behind the computer all day as usual;)
So I got on the train and dealt with too many people in one day, just to get some exercise and buy stuff I could have bought in my own town. But there was one thing I had to travel for and that alone was worth the trip: Tarzan!
Since I killed Tarzan's monkey and Tarzan really isn't that much fun without it, I went to the offlinestore of Mail & Female to get myself a new Lord of the jungle:). I brought the one I wore out, to find if it was a known problem. I was told I should be happy it lasted as long as it did, since the warranty was only six months and they didn't expect their toys to survive much longer than that. Huh. Great sellingpoint. But I really liked Tarzan, so I choose to get a new one anyway, wahey ;)
Then the girl behind the counter asked if she could use the old one for a piece of art she was working on. She plans to make a vibrating chair. Ofcourse I thought my Tarzan should be a part of that;) Progress of the project will be shown on the website.
I really love that shop, it's so cool to have informative conversations about toys. Websites are convenient, but it's nice to have an opportunity to hold and feel the goods before you buy. And it's very tempting to buy more than planned...
Besides the above, I spent loads of money on DVDs, books and other delicious goodies: score!. And I was done shopping early enough to go back to Zwolle for the early-evening showing of The Brave One, the only film I really wanted to see, because of Jodie. Maybe I'll write a review later.
When I got home I was extremely exhausted from all the walking and dealing with annoying people all day, so I just dumped my shopping bags on the table and went straight to bed.
I spent this morning unpacking. My back is broken, but I'm very happy with everything I bought, so it was a good day after all:)

Hehehe, that is so very true. My mom works at a company with 2,000 other people. They all got new laptops with a warranty of 12 months. That was thirteen months ago and in the past month, 30% of the laptops have died. Marketing is a bastard.
But yay for a new Tarzan. And that sounds like an, um, interesting work of art, to say the least *g*.
I often visit the Erotische Verbeelding store nearby, which is full of gorgeous things and trinkets (and chocolate! Ohhh, chocolate...) but very dangerous for spending too much ;).
And it definitely seems to have been worth it, looking at the goodies alone! Extras, eeh! I also really dig the crime scene tape (and the honey showergel, hee. ;).

Oooh, chocolate, multipurpose food. Guh.
That showergel even has the consistency of honey, which may sound icky, but it's really, really nice. It's from the very delicious Kings And Queens collection at the Douglas-drugstore. In combination with my biological honey-shampoo it's heaven:)

Oh, to be able to shop and not have to deal with people all day, that would be awesome.
Also, gotta love the crime scene tape toiletpaper (it's toiletpaper, right?), and the barb-wire tape. awesomeness.

Yep, it's toiletpaper. It makes me giggle on more than one level;)
