It's time to come clean. While the CSI-fandom seemed to be on a hiatus, I was lured away from good ol' Nick/Greg and got to know some new guys. OMG, they are so young. Plus the fiction is of the RPS-kind. *hangs head in shame*. I am now completely obsessed with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Also known as J2. There. I've said it. I tried to stay away, but the peerpressure was too much to handle. I blame the flist (you know who you are). But because deepdown I'm grateful for the introduction, I would like to recommend a universe I discovered last week.

Still need to get started on part 12. I'm thinking of sooperseekritly printing it out at work tomorrow so I can read it during my travels up north for da weekend. There must be a way to avoid anyone noticing what I'm doing, I'm sure of it ;).

Poor, poor Verse!Jensen. He has such ginormous issues. Much like Ryan Ross in that bandom fic I am so not reading...

I have however discovered that Nick/Greg fandom is not as dead as I thought. I am about to make a post with recs to new writers and stories. I have hope for fandom again! YAY

There are some awesome universes in J2-fandom.

Even some of my favorite old writers have moved to J2 or started writing N/G kidfic, which I don't read. There has been the occasional ficlet I liked, but I fear the new authors in Nick/Greg fandom.
But since I've not been actively searching for good CSI-fic I would sure appreciate a new reclist:) Also because canon seems to be back on track with our guys:) (Are you up to date with the US-schedule?)

The only J2's I've read is some I've been sent from the writer, so it's safe to say I know the writer and know she's good.

I too feared new authors in N/G and I have been thinking about it for a while and even been a bit angry, and have been planing a post about it. Because, really... I am not so sure the fandom died a natural death, I think maybe we killed it! But that in a later post.... I'll start writing the post now, and you can read it later.
