A poem (random post the second)

Another item I saved in my mailbox: a poem that hit me, but I refuse to admit I love it, because the author is a twat. Seriously. I'm not gonna mention him. So there. FYI: people I hate are the ones that don't give a shit that I hate them. They are the kind of people that loath me or think nothing of me. And we're all okay with that. Really. This is me not caring.

Poem

Je mist meer
Dan je meemaakt

Helemaal
Niet erg

Translation

You will miss more
than you'll experience

It
doesn't matter

I could do a whole pseudo-psycho-babbling session about why I like this poem. But if you know me, you'll understand and if you don't, you wouldn't;)

Wow, that's absolutely gorgeous. Short poems are often a lot more gripping than long ones, aren't they?

And heh, I know how you feel. One of my all-time favourite poems was written by a guy that I can't freaking stand because he's such a pretentious douchebag. But it's okay. I can respect his work, if not his personality ;).

I tend to lose interest at long poems;) This one woke me up:)

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn. -Joss Whedon

Aw, Joss.
That was the signature line in my emails for the longest time, back when I was campaigning to save Firefly and then Serenity. *wistful look*
