Another weekend with the family; another picspam!

I usually try to avoid spending two weekends in a row with family people. I prefer to be all by myself to recover from the working week. But after last weekend's Sinterklaascelebrations, this weekend was another one filled with family fun. On Saturday I visited the Grandparents, who celebrated their 60th weddinganniversary last Wednesday. Since I couldn't make it during the week and because I didn't think I would be able to handle the reli-party I made it up to them by spending all afternoon with them, because I am a considerate granddaughter after all;)
Traveling back from the East I made a quick stopover at home on my way to the West: at night I went to The Hague for a sleep over at Jaap and Gayleen's. On Sunday Gayleen and I took her younger sister Janelle -who's visiting from Australia- to amusementpark De Efteling. Despite the cold, we had a great day walking through the fairytale forrest and going on lots of rides. EVERYBODY SCREAM!

Dude, you went on the rollercoaster FOUR times? I'm sure I couldn't handle the one. Also because I'm wary of indoor attractions because
a) you don't know what you're in for
b) there's usually flashing lights and with my semi-epilepsy, that's never fun.

But I love all the wintery-ness and the forest! Gah. *wishes to read fairytales now*

I don't usually care for rollercoasters, but that one kicks ass! In winter it's mostly the indoor attractions that are available. But if we ever manage to go to the Efteling together, I'll let you know what you're in for, so you know what rides to pick;) (Have you already been on the Dreamflight?)

See, I forgot how long ago your last visit to the Efteling was, that ride is still relatively new. The line was epic yesterday: about an hour in the freezing cold, but so worth it. Fairies! Trolls! Woosh!
