So what do I do now? Order both?

In response to my question to The Bookdepository:

I noticed a mix up of covers and productinformation on two titles.
I'm interested in purchasing one of the books,
but am not sure which one to order,
since the covers don't match the description:
  • Side by Side: The Journal of a Smalltown Boy (Hardback)
  • Boy Meets Hero (Hardback)

  • I don't want to end up with the wrong book.
I suspect the ISBN-number is decisive,
but hope you can confirm this before I order.

    I received the following answer:

    Dear Judith,
I am afraid there has been a catalogue error on site.
There is no way to confirm the content of the titles.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing you.

*sighs* I suppose I could buy them both to be sure I at least get the one I want...

What the fuck kind of bullshit is THAT? They definitely should be able to confirm that with the EAN/ISBN number. I say, just look up the EAN on Amazon or something, and order the book with that EAN number? Then, if you get the wrong one, send it back or ask for a refund?

    Amateurs :p.

That's what I was thinking. Sorry for the inconvenience doesn't really cut it: I thought they would be able to check their data and offer me a solution.
Since the one book is still a pre-order I'm gonna think about it and see if they will take action this week. I could also order it directly from the publisher but figured I let them know about the mistake, so they could fix it. *sighs* I have been so very satisfied with their service so far.
