Hopelessly devoted

Ack, fell asleep on the couch. Sat up, changed the channel because I don't know what the hell the tv was on and I fell right into the sleepover in Grease ('Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee'). No going to bed straight away now. First film I ever saw in the cinema, *chinhands*
What was your first cinema experience?

The first one I remember is Mary Poppins. It was summer time and I remember that my sister and I had been out playing and my mom called us in to get ready and I was a little miffed that we had to clean up and put on fresh clothes, but it was worth it once we got to the theater and the movie started. I was enthralled.

And oh man, I've watched Grease so many times, I couldn't even begin to count! My friends and I had the soundtrack memorized and would dance around and sing in her basement for hours to it. :)

Aaahw, Mary Poppins, that is a marvelous first cinema experience (and much more age appropriate than Grease;)

I got the Grease OST double LP for my birthday the year after I saw the film, but it didn't include any lyrics sheets, so I had to make up the songs when singing along. Only years later did I notice I didn't quite get all the double entendres and 'adult' language right. *g*
