I can't find the words [sort of an icon-post]

Lately I've been having some trouble with text in my icons. It's hard to think of good words to go with the pictures. But I'm also struggling with the look of the text. The letters keep getting blurry. It's frustrating. Maybe I just need glasses...



Grumble, Livejournal won't let me post more than two pictures... but you can check out the other works in progress in my iconcorner...

Suggestions? Comments? Both are much appreciated.

I snagged the 'Oh baby' icon, hee. Also, I have no idea how to un-blur the text. Do you use photoshop? I'll look into it, the housemate wins at photoshop.

I was planning to do a little more work on those icons, but snag away baby:)

I was fiddling with co-worker Sander this afternoon, ehm fiddling with Photoshop with Sander, and I think we might have found a solution to undo the blurriness. But any tips are welcome. I've been working in Photoshop for years, but mainly for print. Webdesign is still a bit of a mystery, it's such a different technique.
