A weekly update
Dyed my hair yesterday - after letting the grey show for about a year and a half now, I wanted to be a redhead again;) Here's a photoset of the before, during and after...
To get my online life a little bit more organized, I want to start doing weekly updates in this journal. Not sure how long I'll keep it up, I'll probably mostly translate and summarize the daily blah from my Dutch blog, only the most interesting bits of course;)
Monday, Sept 2.: Mom came over for dinner and we went to the arthouse for Blue Jasmine, the latest Woody Allen film with Cate Blanchett. It was a very satisfying evening:) (Film is recommended!)
Tuesday, Sept 3.: Bit of an altercation at work. Hrmpf.
Wednesday, Sept 4.: Another eventful workday... I still have a job, but I'm so glad I have a long weekend off planned.
Thursday, Sept 5.: Day off, yay! Did laundry and spent the morning at city hall getting legal counsel from a very nice young lawyer. (verrry nice on the eyes too;)
Friday, Sept 6.: Woke up around 01.30 am from what sounded like a mouse walking along the window sill in my bedroom. Discovered a hole in the wall near the window. Covered it up and went back to sleep. In the morning I closed up the hole with wall filler, so far I didn't find any creatures or evidence they left behind... I hope it was just a nightmare, I really don't want another mousehunt (Got enough on my mind already, djeez)
In the afternoon I had an awesome massage with patchouli/lemon/orange oil. So gooood.
In the evening I made a nostalgic post about the travels of my favorite (and only) dress:)
Today I dyed my hair (see link up at the top;) and tomorrow I'm going to The Hague for a family get together for my other brother's 42nd birthday. There probably will be a photopost of that later (if only of my adorable nephew;)

(Sorry you're still having work angst. New or same?)

(Sort of a continuation of last year's angst. But we've apparently once again reached the stage of ignoring the issue. *frowns*)

Ugh, sorry to hear about more mouse-stress and additional work-stress. Legal counsel, huh :/. If you need to rant at me, you know where to find me, dahling!! <3
(I really like the idea of a weekly round-up post, I was also considering a weekly post about the books I read and films I watched that week, but I'm not sure I will always have the spoons ;).)

I never saw the second mouse, but that hole in the wall was real, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a nightmare;)
Work situation is currently back to acting like nothing ever happened, which is a true mindfuck, but fine by me for now. Expect to hear the full story in person in November... *smishes*

and I see we have the same hairstyle, the twist and clip.
I'm excited for after my wedding so I can cut off my hair and do something fun.

The twist and clip is my favorite, because it's so very low maintenance;) I sometimes braid my hair for the night, but I never wear my hair down, because it annoys me. Yet I still think it's more convenient than short hair that needs regular upgrades *g*
