Why is everybody going to London, but me? I love to live vicariously through the flist, but if anyone else is planning a trip, I'm just going to quit my job, ignore the back and hop on a train myself. I used to be the traveling one, damnit. Now I'm lucky if I can make it to Amsterdam in the foreseeable future. Grumblegrumblegrumble.

Don't worry, dude, I'm not going anywhere. And part of my Melbourne sickness at the moment is due to the fact that the folks are going there next month, and I am so very fucking jealous.

I want to be back in my old flat with the bats in the tree in the carpark and the possums in the park up the road. I want to catch the tram into the city and walk along the Yarra Bridge. Go to Brunswick Street for hours on end. Catch a game at the G. Eat a pineapple donut. Sigh.
