Already done a lot of chores today, including sorting finances, clearing the table from clutter and selecting photo's for my last picspam about the UK trip. I even remembered to have a proper breakfast and lunch! I'm now ready to take out the trash and then go to the arthouse with mum.

While I was busy I've been listening to the soundtrack of Matilda The Musical (music & lyrics by the fabulous Tim Minchin) and I'm just gonna put my favorite song up here to treasure. Not gonna lie: it still makes me choke up and cry, just like when I saw it performed on stage.

These kids. They are awesome. I want to see it again. *sniffles*

I already got back from London last Wednesday, full of happy after Tim Minchin's brilliant concert, but I found the second part of the Nightrunner series there (Stalking Darkness - Lynn Flewelling) and I had to read that before I could do anything else, even go online for a picspam;) But I finished that book (in between work that I sadly couldn't avoid), so now my blog and journal can have my undivided attention, at least until I get part 3. *grins*

So. London. It was marvelous. Although I forgot to bring my travelwoobie (see icon), so first thing I had to do on arrival (after checking in at hotel and score a theatre-ticket at Leicester Square) was to go to Hamleys and get a stand-in cuddle buddy to go to bed with. (What? Like you can sleep without one).
Of course, going to the world's oldest toy store is not really penance, but trust me when I say I was sufficiently punished later for leaving my woobie at home. Karma, you bitch.

I honestly don't know how I made so many photos in one and a half day )
The End.
