Heather Lowell asked herself this question after moving to Prichett, Wisconsin, to temporarily manage the Cut and Curl Beauty Salon. She's hopeful that this summer she will finally find the love of her life. She even has a list detailing everything she wants in her Prince Charming. But when two men enter her life, Heather suddenly needs to figure out what she really wants – and whether handyman Ian Dexter or rebel-artist Jared Ward figures into her happily ever after. Right away I made Jensen the hairdresser and then I tried to set him up with different people in my head. One of them was always Jeff, and he was a handyman for a while, but I already made him a contracter last time, so this round he got to be the artist:). Danneel was cast by RL Jensen himself, when he was so eager to color her quarantine hair and with him being proud of her DIY skills. How could I ignore that?

Summary/Concept: With his Cut & Curl Salon (for Ladies & Gents) Jensen Ackles has a succesful business – now he´s hoping to finally find love. When two charmers enter his life, he needs to figure out what he really wants – and whether handy-woman Danneel Harris or rebel-artist Jeff Morgan figures into his happily ever after. (Or both...)

My aim was to give it a TV romcom promo feel and I had fun making a logo in Illustrator and then putting them all together in Photoshop. May I present:

Maybe he’s occasionally funny. And every now and then he can be sweet. But mostly he’s just annoying. It doesn’t matter how much he’s starting to flirt with her—Meg is going to resist. She’s way too smart to fall for a guy who never takes anything seriously. But then everything changes in only one night…"

SUMMARY
When Jared moves in with Jensen, Jensen’s life is turned upside down. Jared is a terrible roommate; messy, loud and entirely obnoxious. Unfortunately, he’s also pretty hot and even kinda nice when his socks aren’t clogging up the sink. Not that Jensen would ever do anything about that, because Jared is straight and a giant slob. Or so Jensen thinks.

First time participating in the spn_meanttobe challenge and I'm not sure what happened. My arts and crafts went in a totally different direction than I had originally planned. Based on the summary I picked I had meant to (ha) make an AU period piece, but the more I read that harlequin snippet, the more parallels with supposed Real Life J2 slipped into my (sub) conscious. Ahem. This is of course still all made up and not true.

Prompt: 47. Satan’s Mark: Strictly brought up by her Puritan uncle, Annelise Woodward is much too innocent for the likes of Justin Rochefort, Marquis Saintjohn. When she discovers Justin is her true guardian, and that she must go live with his mother, Lady Emily, Annelise's world turns upside down. Thrust from her modest life into the wicked court of Charles II, Annelise seeks guidance from her handsome new guardian. But Justin is too tormented by his past to help his beautiful ward. Can Annelise help him put aside his pain and look forward to their future together?

Notes: The 'wicked court of Charles II' made me think of being in the public eye and being the subject of gossip and that's how I ended up with a collage of suggestive pictures and words about their past, present and future. I'm not sure if all my pretentious brainwaves come across to everyone, but at least the guys get their happily ever after *grin*

This has been my most confusing challenge so far; before deciding on the final collage, I did some experimenting with other media. Sadly that didn't work out and I had to discard the method I had in mind. I'm glad I still managed to play some more with melting crayons and markers, yet I wish I had allowed myself to be messier and less constricted by my own rules. Once again I wasn't able to let go of creating order. Anyway, for those of you interested, here's a peek at the process.
