"Ever since her former roommates deserted her, Meg has had to share an apartment with a lazy, obnoxious ass. He won’t pick up after himself, and he refuses to get a good job. Plus, he doesn’t always wear enough clothes—which is really a problem, because he’s hot.
Maybe he’s occasionally funny. And every now and then he can be sweet. But mostly he’s just annoying. It doesn’t matter how much he’s starting to flirt with her—Meg is going to resist. She’s way too smart to fall for a guy who never takes anything seriously. But then everything changes in only one night…"

SUMMARY
When Jared moves in with Jensen, Jensen’s life is turned upside down. Jared is a terrible roommate; messy, loud and entirely obnoxious. Unfortunately, he’s also pretty hot and even kinda nice when his socks aren’t clogging up the sink. Not that Jensen would ever do anything about that, because Jared is straight and a giant slob. Or so Jensen thinks.

ALTERNATE COVER
Besides the flowery romance cover, I also made this seventies pulp fiction version.

Did you spot the slight paint effect I added to both photos?
(I tried to imitate that Harlequin cover style;)

BEHIND THE SCENES

Sketching with an inspiring reference *grins* (plus my old Jared bobble head - see link below) and cutting the final version.

I made the printsheet slightly smaller than my model to be able to include more clothes. (I adjusted the size of those digitally). Designing outfits is a lot of fun!


Colouring Jared for his very first fashion show:

Black boxers with yellow socks and green comfy shorts plus sneakers.

Ahhh! I was so excited to see you'd done more art, AND that it was for an ashtraythief fic (squee!!)... BUT THEN - OMG, paper doll Jared??? You have outdone yourself! Ahaha, that is so freaking awesome! I love all the art (the sock dividers are adorable), but the uniqueness of paper doll Jared takes the [cup]cake. Love it! Awesome job, again!

I'm ridiculously fond of those dividers, LOL. I was scrolling down going oh socks, oh look, more cute socks! and Oh, love the cereal box and the rainbow mug!

I hope people make their own Jared and dress him - I remember the Bunty comic I got sometimes used to have those cutout and dress dolls on the back page. No half nekkid Jareds though, sadly.

What a fun, whimsical idea! I love these covers -- I think I'm partial to the second one because Jared's big smile and Jensen's backpack (IDK, it makes him look so studious!) And the paperdolls are just an inspired idea and so perfect for the tone of this light-hearted challenge. Definitely makes me want to read the fic!

Thank you! Oh, there was a lot of back and forth which cover to go with, but Jensen's eyeroll with the laundry basket won out.
Jared's state of (un)dress in the story made me think of those paperdolls and I just had to try and make one:)

If knowing there was a paper doll available for crafting wasn't enough to pull me in (it was), I am now also in love with the dividers and pairing that with the summary, I wanna read the story now!

What a brilliant idea. I'm totally going to print and cut the Jared doll items so I can play along with the story. (this is going to be my downtime fun project for next weekend WOOHOO)

Okay, so I finally have to make time to leave you the squeeiest comment ever, because the stuff you made is just awesome! I love the little sock and mug deviders, and omg the cereal one brought back childhood memories, lemme tell you!!!!
