How Bob created the world

Let's make 2006 a good one!

ETA Answers to music-meme December 18. I was really impressed by the response I got on that post: thanks everyone for playing. Only 2 and a half song were not guessed. )

What happened?
Thursdaynight I was shopping in town, when a very lovely girl approached me. She was very much my kind of girl and because of that I didn't notice she was not alone and it took me a while to realise what she wanted. She asked me very charmingly if she could ask a question and I looked at her really interested and hopeful until she continued by saying 'we want to know if you believe in god', I sighed and dissapointed I came back to earth to be my own cynical and decent self again and answered that I really didn't feel the need to talk about that subject; goodbye lovely girl.

I have to admit that the thought that she must have been a sign of some sort crossed my mind, but I figured me meeting her had something to do with my grandparent's visit on Friday. I had already cleaned out all the religious quotes from my walls that they might consider inappropriate to avoid discussions and convertion-conversations.
Even after finding the dvd of my choice even though several shops had told me that movie wasn't available anymore, I didn't have a clue. And the perfectly cooked chicken and the peaceful Friday-visit were ofcourse both my own doing.

But this morning I had a revelation and I discovered why everything was going so well: He is back! While I was restlessly changing channels on tv I suddenly became very calm after reaching the Preview Channel. A couple of weeks ago it was changed from VH1 to Family 7. Since I was not pleased with that I had avoided this channel so far. But this morning I suddenly understood what all the happy people were doing there and now I know: there IS a Bob! Today he talked about JOP XI, in which he tells us about his family of carpenters ('Maybe you live in a house my father and I once built') Of course he ended the session with the creation of a big tree ('I like big trees') and now my life makes sense again:-)

I learned that we can all enjoy Bob's lessons every Monday through Saturday at 10.00 a.m. en 3.30 p.m. If you're not able to watch The Joy Of Painting you're welcome to come to my movie-theatre to join the experience. I will be recording some of his lessons to organize a gathering some time in the new year;-) Rejoice!
