Date: 2008-02-03 12:48 am (UTC)I have been crushing on him for about 20 years now - alas, I never even heard of Huckleberry Finn and friends until about a year ago.
If you can manage to find it - it's difficult - you must, simply MUST MUST MUST watch him in Dreamspeaker. WeeIan was only 11 when he made this (I believe his second thing ever) and he completely knocked my socks off. He was an emotionally disturbed boy in a very difficult but compelling film, that neither would nor could have been made in the US. It's short, only like 75 minutes but I cried through about 30 of them.
