I feel so proud of myself
Oct. 3rd, 2006 11:06 pmFirst a go-me-moment: Wahey, today was the first day since my vacation that I managed to NOT go online at work for a personal mail-, friends- and web-check up. I'm not an addict baby, woohoo!
Second: I'm not sure what caused this (that's sarcasm for ya) but I have an almost desperate need to spread quotes from my Queer Notions-collection (a book from 1996 by Gregg Stebben and David Blanton) Let's start with this one from k.d. lang: I don't consider my homosexuality a political thing. I consider it a sexual and spiritual thing.
and I like to add to that myself that I consider it a personal thing.
Here are some more quotes to think about:
In America sex is an obsession, in the rest of the world it is a fact - Marlene Dietrich
Labels are for filing, labels are for clothing, labels are not for people - Martina Navratilova
This question is so direct - are you gay or not? If somebody excites me, either a man or a woman, then I'm interested - Udo Kier
There is probably no sensitive heterosexual alive who is not preoccupied at one time or another with his latent homosexuality - Norman Mailer
That's all for now. Goodnight.
