So. Yesterday: Amsterdam with
artistic_sillie.
I've never went shopping with a female friend before (since I've only had male friends until now:). I've spend some time with Sillie up in my attic, but to be honest I was a bit nervous about being together without Nick and Greg around;) And it didn't help that I missed the train I was supposed to be on, but thankfully Sillie was patiently waiting for me when I finally arrived in Amsterdam. And to my relieve she wasn't mad at all. Pfew.
I was again pleasantly surprised by how relaxed I feel in her company. I'm still not used to that.
Usually when I go to Amsterdam I only do some necessary shopping and then head for the cinema to catch movies that didn't make it to my town. But now I had a reason to shop: I had collected wish-lists for the big Sinterklaas (Santa) celebrations from everyone and there are a couple of really cool shops in Amsterdam, so off we went.
After the Chill Out section in big departmentstore De Bijenkorf (The Beehive;), Lush (soapshop), Fame Music and Waterhouse (english bookstore) we finally got to the American Book Center, the store we both wanted to go to *g*. We had a great time.
( But then I had to reveal the pervert in me... )
I'm sick and evil. Sorry.
