Fancommunity, stop breaking my heart, please. I don't care about the drinking on stage (even if I think it's kind of stupid, since they are working after all and I always kind of hope playing music gives a band enough of a buzz to enjoy the experience of performing) but I don't want to reach that stage where I can't enjoy the music anymore, simply because the people involved are assholes. (That goes for both the band and the fans by the way)

I hate that people feel the need to make lame excuses for artists' lousy behaviour. And I hate it even more when people who are trying to show some care are attacked. I don't think it's "okay" to get drunk (it certainly isn't funny) and I don't think acting stupid is a young person's prerogative (forgive me if that word doesn't mean what I think it means). I am willing to accept that people want to experiment or try to find their boundaries, but I personally never felt the need for it and you don't get to tell me that is abnormal, just because you are so fucking 'experienced'.

I hope there will always be plenty of people around to express their worries, even if it's about someone they put on a pedestal.

Having said all that: I'm totally gonna continue to be in denial for now and just remember the awesome performance I saw before I read all the comments.
