After three days of snot and a head filled with cottonballs, Thursday the flue moved on to the coughing stage. Yesterday I at least had the sexy voice to amuse me, but today I only have the barking cough left; you know the one that makes your chest and stomach hurt after you catched your breath. I'm also enjoying my period, woohoo. But since all this feeling poorly is perfectly planned between days of awesome, the bodily issues don't really bother me and as long as I don't talk, I should be able to keep the coughing spells to a bare minimum. Not speaking is hard though, even if I'm all alone; I talk out loud to myself more than I was aware of;)

(FYI: I have of course not missed a day of work, unlike my male co-worker who called in sick for two days for suffering from the snot, thus making everyone else's job that much harder. *rolls eyes*)

I have so many awesome memories of the last few weeks and am looking forward to going to London on Monday (I'm sure the body will be back to its lovable self by then) to see Tim Minchin in the O2 on Tuesday \o/ In between reading and preparing for travel I plan to make some time to catch up with LJ and mail this weekend, since I've been distracted by Harry Potter, Panic! at the Disco and planning plus enjoying all that time spent with mindlike fans of both in the past month.

If I've missed an important post or haven't replied to your comment or mail yet, feel free to poke me.
And if you haven't shared your adress yet, but want to be on my mailinglist for a good old fashioned paper card, you can still leave it here. I'll start working on those when I return from my trip:)

For now I'm gonna find some food and then back to bed to snuggle with my laptop and J3 for a bit. It's been too long, guys.

Heh, those of you who follow my [livejournal.com profile] thej2bee book community must have been wondering how many more reviews would spam your flist. I'm happy to say I'm finished for today;)
I hope to keep it up more regularly in the future, as I desperately want to squee about the book I read last (Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling) but still have to do a couple more reviews of read books of my readinglist.

I just posted my opinion on the following books:
  • Last Night At Twisted River - John Irving
  • Mees Kees in de Gloria - Mirjam Oldenhave
  • Spijt! (Regret!) - Carry Slee
  • 10 words review: Yuri Monogatari
  • Majas Morsas Kompis Sambo - Katarina Kieri
  • Wings Of Equity - Sean Kennedy
  • Our Tragic Universe - Scarlett Thomas

  • If you don't know where to start: those last two are especially recommended:)
