All day long I imagine writing in my journal; so much so that at the end of the day I feel like I've already shared every shitty thing that happened. This is probably a good thing, 'cause it means I managed to get most of the anger out of my system and I have no reason to be (passive) aggressive online. *grins* But it also means there's nothing left for me to talk about here.
Lately I've only posted if something in fandom was bugging me or if I feel extremely bad or happy. Unlike in my Dutch blog, where I force myself to write a little something every day, no matter how mundane. So today I'm gonna share something boring here!

To remind myself that even though this felt like one of those 'what the hell did I do all day' days, I sure did get a lot done. Here's a list of my day at work.

  1. Made birth-announcements for a baby-girl, text in pink of course *rolls eyes*
  2. Worked on a new text for a medical protocol-card for GP's, today's topic was Cardiology (Angina Pectoris)
  3. Updated a folder for a museum with new prices and the presentation of the new exhibition.
  4. Sent designs for cardgame to printer.
  5. Finished off 400 folders for an estate agent; the folding machine was too rough on the fancy paper... I had to groove and fold them by hand. Joy.
  6. Sent forms for a factory to C2P (Computer to Plate) to be printed.
  7. Same with invoice-papers for a chimney-sweeper.
  8. Had a meeting: discussed work and new computer server.
  9. Printed, cut and folded surprise-party invitations (client had approved my design from yesterday right away!)
  10. Scanned a huge old baby-photo and printed it on glossy paper.
  11. Transferred files to new server.
  12. Made photos for digital Newsletter (will write articles tomorrow.)
  13. Made proofs of Xmas cards for milk company.
  14. Sent more documents to C2P
  15. Prepared orders for tomorrow; have to put together monthly magazine for local church (shut up)

All in all more walking around and technical work than on an average day and relatively little creative fiddling on my Mac. Luckily the next few days I will at least be sitting down for some big projects. Besides the aforementioned magazine, that will keep me busy for two days, I'll be doing the (hopefully) final editing of a 20 page personnel publication for the ministry of justice. With of course in between the never ending pile of 'small' orders like stickers for a doors-factory, businesscards and flyers for a garden-designer and more Xmas cards...
Speaking of the holidays: next week I'm gonna start working on the yearly newspaper that announces the town's December festivities. I may be going a bit crazy by then;)
