I had put off watching Cabin in the Woods because I don't really care about the genre. I should have trusted Joss Whedon's skills on making it interesting;) Very cool and a great combination of actors.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend Magic Mike, but we needed an antidote to the gore in CitW before going to bed *grins* In between the main story about the male stripper saving for his future, there were two great female characters played by Olivia Munn and Cody Horn who are well worth watching. More so than the charming chests and buttocks of all the men;)
It pleases me immensely that you watched Noordzee, Texas; wasn't that a darling film? I always wonder how our language and culture is perceived by foreigners.
I highly recommend Out In The Dark to you. Definitely more difficult to watch, but the relationship is beautiful.
