I have this serious "where my life is at"-post in my head, but still no time to write it. Busy with work, Reverse Bang artwork and preparing for the big trip to Australia (in TWO WEEKS!). This is just a quick picspammy update before I crawl into bed early to get ready for my family's Sinterklaas celebrations in The Hague tomorrow.

FRIDAY
Dyed my hair yesterday and I wasn't going to take pictures this time (since it was just a touch up for traveling;) but I simply had to show you the funky black gloves that were in the package of dye.

All the ingredients of fancy colour 'Pure Ruby'. How kinky is that glove?

The morning after... Don't mind my crinkly face, it's very early in the morning. I also apologize for the lack of clothes *grins*

SATURDAY
Today I went to Amsterdam to help out brotherdearest and his girlfriend with yet another move. Their landlord suddenly had to sell the house, so they were practically kicked out. Luckily they managed to find another apartment at a great location; it has a view over a canal!
In between moving stuff, building a bookcase and hanging up shelves, I went into town (to pick up a present for tomorrow) and had a wonderful hour by myself of checking out yet another part of the city.

THE MOVE

Look at that view: those are swans in the distance. \o/

We used one of these to lift the heavy furniture; saved us walking up three stairs;)

Although you still need quite a few strong people to pull the stuff up, it's still a lot easier than climbing.

MY SHORT CITY TRIP

Waiting for the tram at Rokin; this is a statue of Queen Wilhelmina.

View on Herengracht from Utrechtse Straat (West)

Cool house, photo from tram (Rokin, towards Dam square)

The end.

Night, night! (Expect a picspam of family-fun tomorrow;)

I'm not brave enough to dye my hair on my own and getting it professionally done is so expensive. The gray is getting worse though, so I might have to buck it up and give it a whirl. Is it very difficult? Your hair always looks good.

And more photos!! Your brother and his girlfriend do have a nice view. And thank goodness for the pulley system, lugging heavy things up stairs is so tiring - and you have to watch the walls and so forth.

Loved seeing all of the other photos you took, especially the last one. Awesome and interesting architecture.
