Pfff, what a week. I had planned to keep up with my work-outs while I was in Amsterdam on Monday and Tuesday, but the floor of my brother's third floor apartment started creaking as soon as I showed him how to do a half jack and I'm pretty sure I felt the floorboards moving along too, so I figured it was safer to not do any more jumping. I did walk all over town with

Wednesday and Thursday were crazy days at work, as I was still working on that extra design assignment and I found my stresslevels went up like woah; I'm glad I managed to have fun with it eventually.
At home I caught up with Age of Pandora. Even though I first had wanted to skip the Chapters I missed, I decided to play properly after all and did Chapter 20 and 21.
On Fridays I only work mornings and I spent my whole afternoon plus evening coding my Reverse Bang ARTPOST! I was pretty stiff from sitting down for hours and my body was acting up hormonally on top of that, so I gave myself permission to skip the work-out.
I got back to it today with Chapter 22. Behind the cut a review and possible spoilers for the story...
Chapter 20
As I said above, Chapter 20 started with half jacks, which I like much better than jumping jacks; because there is no need to wave my arms, I can hold my boobs and don't need to put on a bra, haha! The lunge step-ups keep confusing me because it seems like the video is opposite from the drawing and it took me some time to figure out the right balance of leg and arm movement. The side leg raises are doable. FIVE SETS WAS A LOT THOUGH. /o\
Chapter 21
Oh, I really love slow climbers, I did them in two sets of 50 and it was mostly my arms that protested. The front kicks were a little harder, so I was glad I had the Mountain Men Perk and only had to do 100; I did these in two sets in between the slow climbers.
My, the story is getting very exciting, isn't it? Good thing Morse thought to bring the tar to burn the door!
Chapter 22
I love the martial art sets and I really feel I'm getting better at them (also thanks to my Moov boxing app, which taught me how to channel my aggression and to really pack a punch;) To my surprise I didn't have any problems with the squat+hook combo, even though that's an up and down move that usually wears me out. Today I had the most trouble with the turning kicks and the double side kicks; for some reason my hips didn't want to cooperate, hrmpf. Once again I was very happy I could take a set off thanks to the Mountain Men Perk \o/
At the end of the Chapter I chose OPTION B and tried to reason with the attacker as I had a sneaking suspision my dog tags popping out from underneath my shirt was significant and it was :-p
Onwards to Chapter 23!
