Jelle said he'd be here at five for our date with Harry P, which leaves me less than forty-five minutes to fold my laundry, do the dishes, put snacks up in the attic and get dinner ready. Oh and post the reclist I promised tanisafan so she will have something to read after seeing The Order Of The Phoenix. She is to blame for getting me into Harry Potter fanfiction, so she must be rewarded;)
As I told her last week I will not slash any other HP-characters or read other stories outside of canon, but Sirius/Remus just don't get enough text in the books and the subtext has potential. However, most stories I've read so far all could have been about random guys. For me the fun in fanfiction is a more indepth exploration of those specific characters. Luckily among the massive amount of stories I stumbled on what must be the best writer in that fandom: franticbabbles She also wrote some awesome grown-up stuff, but this is the story about how it all started: Sirius and Remus at Hogwarts, scenes from Year One - Year Three - Year Four - Year Five - Year Six - Year Seven

There are no scenes of Year Two (yet?) and the stories haven't been written in chronological order. They can be read as stand alones. Let me know if you like them (or not;) and maybe I'll post a longer reclist later.

Oh, dear. I have so much to answer for :P.
And of course we won't read any fic outside of canon, since Remus/Sirius is very clearly canon *nod*.

Yay for the links (and for LJ finally cooperating enough for me to see them), I copypasted the lot to word and will read them in my next study break, hee!

I've decided that I'm allowed to fangirl obsessively about Harry Potter for the rest of July. I do hope noone will mind ;). *off to post movie review*

Oh yes, it is absolutely canon. I instructed Jelle to read the book and agree with us;) As if the movies didn't also show us the truth. Just look at your icon.

I love that I'm not the only one going a bit loopy about Potter. I had such a great time with Jelle as well, it is awesome to be able to share the insanity:)

Hee, it's so totally eating my brain these days. Me and my mom had a great talk after the film, I love fangirling with her. I think I annoyed the hell out of Jolanda yesterday with my four-hour meta discussion on why she doesn't like the books and what can be done to fix them :P. And made arrangements to see the film again on Thursday, bwahaha.

Oh and found more lurvely Remus/Sirius stories here; which I'll be finishing today when I'm alone at the office. Hem, hem. Am reading Stealing Harry now, but loved 'Alive' to pieces.

I know what I'll be doing in my vacation: I'll gladly help out on the reclist! I found a humongeous long Remus/Sirius list, categorised by rating, which does not work for me at all: I need some discription of genre to decide whether I should try a story. Oh well, I'll start with the adult stuff. Will keep you posted;)

Yay, thank you! Honestly, I mostly need recs in the CSI and HP departments and you'd be perfect for that, hee :P. Will send you what I have later on (it's quite limited thusfar, because my father's computer is a slow sunovabitch and it takes me ten minutes to add a link *pulls out hair*)!
