Another Talk of Dooom

This afternoon my boss and I sat down to do a follow-up of our 'big talk of doom' from 3 weeks ago.This time I was prepared: I had written down everything I wanted to say and I got a chance to read all that out loud. So, no emotional outbursts or unexpected tears, but J. in control of the situation. Much better.
We still didn't work out every issue, but it was a very adult conversation with mutual understanding and some good points.
I now have a lot more faith in my future here. Go me!

Good to hear you had a talk....
Well, the point isn't always to work out every issue at once, but if you are heading in th eright direction, that's a very good start! It'd good to hear that you can have adult conversations.

I'm relieved I got to say what was on my mind. The past few weeks have been hellish with all the stuff that was said in the first talk going through my head. I trust everything will get better from now on, at least I have a little more peace of mind:)
