I loved Brief aan de Koning when I was a kid, but I never got around to reading the sequel. When her books were republished three years ago, I first had to have the one I remembered and then started collecting her scifi novels, a treat to read (and it's true what they say that stories about the future tell you more about the time they were written in than about what's going to happen; it's endearing how she envisioned communication in space back in 1969)
Now I finally got a hold of Geheimen van het Wilde Woud I want to reread Brief aan de Koning first:)

Hey, I wasn't sure where to put this, but I just got your defriending notice.... I'm not really sure what to say, I know I'm not around much (especially in the CSI fandom these days) but I still am sorry about it. If you're just doing a general tidy up, I understand, but I hope I didn't do or say anything to make you choose me in particular.

    Um, I guess that's it.

    Take care xoxox

Part of tidying up, really. Nothing personal. I don't friendlock pages, so it's not to shut you out of my life. I'm just trying to limit my flist to journals I intend to read and respond to.

I'm still available by mail, by the way.

That's completely cool. You're like me, I don't lock posts either!

I'd just hoped I hadn't upset you or something like that (I do tend to get paranoid... lol)

totally out of context and completely random but your disapproval of censorship was an automatic light bulb in my head and I had to add you.
