Here it is: my first ever artwork for a BigBang in what to me still feels like a brandspanking new fandom: SPN/J2 RPS. I've had so much fun since I signed up for this, I hope you all enjoy the results of my fiddling:)

I was thrilled to be able to pick yasmine32068's cool story (go read it!!):

Summary: Jared Padalecki likes his life. He owns his own business, has a great room mate, and good friends. The only thing missing in his perfect world is someone to share it with. So what if he owns a mystic bookstore, has psychic gifts, or that his room mate is a couple of centuries old and happens to be dead. When gorgeous Jensen Ackles walks through the doors of his shop, his life becomes even stranger.

Is it safe, is it safe?
I tried to keep ficspoilers out of the banner and covers; my intention was to hint at characters and plot in a way that would lure you into the story without revealing anything. When you finish reading you should revisit the artwork to hopefully discover all the references I put in there:) All the images are rated PG13.

While the back of the CD-cover is clearly based on the banner, I tried to show the more emotional content of the story on the front cover:





On the bookcover (for the pdf) I wanted to make clear that the story is from Jared's point of view:




You probably won't notice the mild spoilers in the chapterheaders and sectiondividers, but the character-photos are full on displays of Yasmine's wonderful imagination, so you should read the story first. I have to admit I'm never up to date with SPN until artistic_sillie comes over and makes me sit down for a long marathon session, but I do so love the RPS side of fandom;) You don't need any fandom experience to read the story, as it is AU and the characters get a thorough introduction.

I've never had this much time for an artproject, it's been overwhelming and I get what you say about losing inspiration along the way. I started over again after my first drafts were getting me down. This is just fantastic work. I've just finished reading the pdf version of the fic and so I didn't get to see everything and just WOW. I love, love love the Brownies - so cute in the literal sense of the word! Oh and the danelion divider was awesome also, just totally tickled me - talent and a sense of humour for the win.
