beelikejI'm back from my mini vacation! Had a great time, walked around an area of London I hadn't explored before and found a couple of cool sights; I returned home with 666 photos, haha. Yesterday I had an extra day off for a hot stone/cold stone massage, which was very reinvigorating. This morning I went back to work for a couple of hours and now I have a busy weekend ahead with fiddling for SPN_Cinema and the SPN_ReverseBang! I also want to catch up with my Land of Art postings, so here's another one:)
This was a cute, happy making challenge to create icons out of silly animated faces. I chose characters from films and a tv series that I all have watched and enjoyed. My focus was on female characters, and I made more icons than I submitted; I am including three bonus ladies.

I originally had a version of Tina with the text 'smile' on it, but figured the icon didn't need it as her face says it all. I then decided to make them all textless. Didn't make any big edits, most work was to find the perfect fit for a 100x100 pixel square. Additional edits between brackets.
(Sully &) Mike from Monsters Inc. (extreme close up!) + Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers (I changed the background colour)
Helen Parr from The Incredibles (lightened up) + Hades from Hercules (smoothed with smart blur and lightened colours)
Megara from Hercules (brightened colours, removed arm) + Elinor from Brave (took a frame from this gif, sharpened it for size and lightened it up)
