The countdown is making me wibble

I'm such a bad employee today. I've got plenty of work, but I simply can't focus. I'm freaking out. Not only because tonight I'm gonna post the designs for the GayPulpChallenge (and it kind of feels like a test) but also because I started final preparations for this weekend (got paid today, wahey:). I'm very excited to meet tanisafan, but nervous as hell. Eeeep.

Maybe food can calm me down... *off to have lunch*

Title: Love Hurts

Gay Pulp Prompt: V/W. Gay Vigilante (Frederick Rayborg, 1972)
Living conditions are so harsh in the heyday of the California Gold Rush that love can exist in a man's life only like a splinter that has become embedded in his heart, too painful to ever pull out. Holt rides into the frontier village of Grand Toros to find Mike Blade, the man who gunned down Holt's lover Troy back in Dodge City. Now that there's a gay vigilante in town who's hell-bent on revenge, the Wild West is going to get a whole lot wilder!
Notes: I tried to step out of my comfortzone for this one and not stick to the rules I usually apply. I used shots from S6Ep15: Pirates Of The Third Reich, because Bandana!Nick reminded me of cowboys. Next I added layer after layer of every western-image I could think of. But when I was done it wasn't me and more importantly: it wasn't Nick & Greg. So I stripped it from all the in your face rubbish and ended up with just the guys. And I think it says exactly what they both experience. But what do I know.

Move over James Bond! Meet the Man from C.A.M.P., a mild-mannered middle-aged super-spy who just happens to belong to a secret organization dedicated to the protection and advancement of homosexual causes. Sometimes, as in this light-hearted farce about an international diamond heist, carrying out C.A.M.P.'s mission means battling evil, sex-deviate master criminals determined to sully the good name of law-abiding gays everywhere.
Notes: The prompt just screamed for Greg in a suit, so I had to use shots from S7Ep4 FannySmacking. But I left out all the nasty bits and focused on the pretty. Don't they make an awesome team? If anyone wants to write the book to go with this cover, I'd love to read it (007Boyz out of the Masquerade-series comes to mind;)
