A quick update before I disappear from the internet again to focus on my second BigBang.
Speaking of that challenge: I don't think I did a proper LJ advertisement for my artwork on the first story I claimed. Seeing as the artpost was made with the date 'out of order', it probably didn't show up on your flist and I just know you're sorry you missed it *grins*
So I hereby invite you over to take a look at my first bit of fiddling for
spn_j2_bigbang: CLICK! (even if you're not in that fandom, I'd love to hear what you think of it;)
It's been weird going back to work after the amazing extra-long weekend last week, but I managed with fond memories of the Harry Potter Marathon.
My arm still hurts, but physical therapy is slowly but surely making it easier to deal. I have to do a lot of exercises all day long; it starts right after waking up with several stretching moves in bed. I also do a couple of waving exercises while I'm waiting for the bus. In between work I mostly relax and roll my arm and in the evening I have a whole set of things to do with a rubber band that I attach to my door. Pfff.
But after waking up too early and with pain since January, I had one good morning last week, so that's promising.
It was disappointing to find out I lost a lot of my vacation hours because of taking time off for PT; I will not be able to travel in October as planned. Oh well, I'll just make the most of my summervacation then. In less than two weeks I'm going to London with
tanisafan, wahey! I've also got a couple of special massages scheduled, so I'm looking forward to August:)
Last but not least: I updated my readinglist; although I'm gonna be busy with catching up on the BigBang fanfic for a couple more weeks, I'm already constructing a new bookpile:) Next week I will be reading Shakespeare's Richard III in preparation for the play in London. Did you know the full title of that play is a total spoiler? Tssk.
