If only it could be weekend all the time
Oct. 11th, 2012 03:26 pmI feel like I haven't updated in ages, while it's not even been two weeks since my previous post. Still: that's very long in internet time, so this is a bit of an update.
I'm struggling with real life at the moment; I never realized how much my sanity depended on my job. Once again the sword of Damocles is hanging over my head because I have no idea if, when and how my job will be cut. In the mean time I'm continuing to work full days because it's crazy busy at work even though I've been told there is not enough business for me to keep my job.
My whole sense of self is shaking and the lack of control is affecting me physically, mentally and emotionally. Fortunately on the weekends I find a lot of comfort in being creative for fandomchallenges, but during the week I find it hard to keep going.
In the past few days I've been suffering from hormonal attacks and yesterday I finally gave my body some rest, when I took a sick day and allowed myself to do absolutely nothing. Thanks to that I now have enough energy to make it these next two days until the weekend, but it's still rough.
