Fuck. My camera stopped working. I am not saying it broke down, because I just refuse to believe that :-( I hate that I have to go back to the store, but more than that I hate that this happens a week before departure. Fuck. I did have some problems with it last weekend when I went to The Hague, but I blamed that on the battery. And on Sunday Jelle decided to take some pictures that I only remembered yesterday when I checked the card (this shot made me smile:) so it did work then.
But today when I wanted to make some pictures of my house to show to my hostfamily, the camera just didn't respond. I did charge the battery again (even though it wasn't empty) but ... nothing.
I already bought two disposable camera's as back up, but I hardly think those are enough to capture four weeks of traveling. Fuck. I wish I could still buy an old fashioned camera without any electronics or need for batteries. Remember those: just click and turn, click and turn. It was so much easier in the old days :-(
