Tomorrow is only a day away
Aug. 13th, 2012 08:54 pmBeen preparing for travel all day. You'd think I'd know how to do that by now, but no. Even a relatively easy four day trip to London is still stressing me out. But I learned to deal by just accepting my freak out and taking it real easy. Because I know I will be alright once I'm on my way.
I'm almost ready for tomorrowmorning. Only need to fold the clothes I picked (and tried on to see if they were still comfy) and put them in my backpack, along with my shoulder bag that has my books (The Hunger Games & Catching Fire), my e-reader (with 46 J2_BigBang fics), my iPod (with a work out video of Gilad, so I can keep up my new exercise regime), a bit of food for on the train and of course all the important papers.
As usual I wrote a (shopping)list which also includes directions to theatres with options for plays & musicals, but most importantly a train schedule with alternative routes just in case.
If all goes well, this is the plan: leave my house at 9.15 a.m. at the latest, catch 9.46 train to Rotterdam, change there onto 11.55 train to Brussels for boarding Eurostar at 14.56, arrive in London at 16.03 local time. Check in to hotel, go back to town, pick a show for the night.
Wednesday is for shopping and possibly more theatre, on Thursday I'm going on a sunrise tour to Stonehenge (including a trip to Bath and Lacock *giggle*;).
I'm traveling home on Friday afternoon, will tell you all about my adventures when I get back! *waves*
