beelikejAfter school I pick up my laundry *snif* it smells gooood. After lunch (lentilsoup + rice + beans + chicken and carrots) I relax in my room: I sort out my backpack for traveling and after doing my homework I hang in front of the tv: Malcolm in the middle, Lizzy McGuire, SpongeBob Squarepants: all dubbed in spanish, so very useful of course *g* I also see... GRISSOM! So now I know TeleAmazones shows CSI, but I can't figure out when it's on :-( But it was great comfort to know it's here (I'm not an addict, baby;)
At 4 pm I'm meeting Helene at the art-house Oche Y Media - very near Rosa's house- where we also meet Johan and his girlfriend (He was in my conversationclass last week and this week Helene shares his class) There is a Spike Lee movie-marathon and we go to see 'Clockers' in a lovely small auditorium, that kind of looked like my attic (okay, so my screen is a bit smaller, but still;) It was very interesting to see all those actors who are famous now: Mehki Phifer from ER and Isaiah Washington from Grey's Anatomy among others in a very intense movie.
After the movie we went home for diner (same as lunch, but without the chicken) and then we decided to go for another movie. I had seen Inside Man before, but despite my dislike of actor Clive Owen, my love for the arthouse (and Denzel and Jodie and Dafoe) wins. I'm rewarded for my nice behavior -karma!- with an awesome trailer: a complete song from The Rocky Horror Picture Show 'Sweet Transvestite by Dr. Frank-N-Furter (a delightful Tim Curry:) So this was another good night.
Next day: spanish scrabble and goodbyes
