beelikejI pick my shower- and shampoos because of the bottle, I don't really care about the brand. Of course it has to smell good, but it also has to look pretty.
I used to only buy Bert & Ernie showergel and shampoo, because those two were so adorably slashy in the pictures on the bottles: taking a shower together, Bert washing Ernie's hair: seriously cute. But recently the drawings were changed to a more innocent kiddy-style and I've been on the look out for other bottles ever since :-p
So when I found this funky bottle with swirls of white soap in glittery gel I had to have it. I couldn't smell it in the shop, because of the hygiene-cap (so annoying) but it looked good enough, so I bought all the colors I liked.
Yesterday I tried the green variety. And I found out looks can be deceiving: it didn't have any scent at all and as for the soapy bit... remember when you were little and you were allowed to play with paper and glue? Remember the glue? It wasn't really sticky, just some kind of transparent jelly that would only stick the paper together if you used loads of it. Fun to play with, but not very useful. I swear that's what the manufacturer used for this gel: it was just watery jelly. No smell, no foam, nothing. I was very dissapointed :-(
Fortunately I still have two bottles of Bert & Ernie's stuff left. Nice smell and very soapy. Plus slash.
What more does a girl need;)
