Feeing very ignorant now, as I know and adore Eartha Kitt from her singing (and her Catwoman role on Batman), yet had never seen this interview before. Her views don't surprise me at all. IMO, Love IS a series of compromises, but if compromise doesn't spring from BOTH sides, it's not "compromise," it's "capitulation," and that ain't love. /snark

Have you ever heard Ms. Kitt's version of "La Vie en Rose"? or "I Want To Be Evil" or "Santa Baby"? What a wicked set of pipes on that woman! ♥

Eartha Kitt is a true role model and I am definitely more ignorant than you on the subject of her wonderful body of work. Am going to check out La Vie En Rose:)
