And now it's time for bed
Dec. 10th, 2006 11:43 pmStayed up until 03.00 last night writing poems for the festivities this afternoon.
But the lack of sleep in the past days and nights was well worth it: we (Mom, Jaap, Gayleen, Hans and I) celebrated Sinterklaas all afternoon and part of the evening: it took us about 3 and a half hours to unwrap all the presents, it was hilarious. We had a great time. Pictures will be posted later.
When I got home -around ten o'clock- I prepared to vote in the WMTDB-awards by reading the final 6 categories that I hadn't made a decision for yet. In the end I managed to pick my favorites in every of the 18 categories. Wahey! I think I'm suffering from N/G overload now;)
I am very much looking forward to going to sleep: I definitely will have sweet dreams:-)

Date: 2006-12-11 09:47 am (UTC)I keep being astounded by the effort you guys put into Sinterklaas. Over here, it's just for the kids, and the rest of are lucky if we get some candy. Christmas shall be huge though *giggles*.
Did you get nice pressies? And yay for pictures! (Wow, I'm all over the place today...)
