Why I love Empire magazine (UK)
Feb. 16th, 2007 01:10 pm"Experts have found that 'The Prestige', starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson, is statistically the best-looking film ever. Seriously, it's science."
:-)
Happy: my broken shoes are fixed and are now as perfect as before. Better even: the shop gave 'm a well deserved shine, wahey.
Sad: the past days I have been heading towards a depression. Not funny. No particular reason so far, but yesterday's meeting at work made it severely worse. I'm not a happy camper. Hopefully the weekend will give me enough energy and courage to go and talk to the boss about things that need to change. I want to get out of this asap and improving stuff at work might help a little at least. During my break this morning I treated myself to chocolate and bought funky presents, but I still can't stop sighing. I wish I could shut down my brain for a bit. Thinking is annoying at the moment. Bugger.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling like yourself sweetie *cuddles*. It might be an end of winter thing, but they're saying that spring is coming close and I'm sure that will help to get the blood flowing again. Hope you'll feel chipper again soon! XD *hug*

Date: 2007-02-17 07:16 pm (UTC)I usually love the winter, but -clinical- depression runs in the family, so it's not too weird to be hit by feeling down any time of the year. Fortunately I'm usually the one least bothered by the condition. I just have some issues in my live and at work that need to be dealt with. Sometimes it really sucks being an adult and having to face rl. :-/
It's good to be able to escape into films and stories;) And TV... someone told me there are some goodlooking guys in the latest episode of my favorite series;) *off to the attic for CSI on the big screen*

Date: 2007-02-20 11:06 am (UTC)Well, that does sound very tempting. I can't go on saturday, I'm going to the 'Gothic and Fantasy Beurs' in Rijswijk, but I could meet up with you on sunday, if you're going then. I don't know what time you plan on being in Amsterdam... I do have to work, so I can only meet up in the afternoon. Could that work? Otherwise we'll just have to plan another Marathon soon. :P
