Books: update and quote
Apr. 10th, 2007 10:17 pmI had quite a busy day at work today and wasn't even able to check my personal mail for comfort until I got home:-( But then I discovered I had received so much love, it made me feel all better, wahey :-)
I noticed I haven't updated my bookstatus for a while. I have been reading every day while traveling back and forth to work the past week, but -again- I didn't get a change to read at the cinema during intermission yesterday. This time I left right after the titles: I really didn't want to sit down for Marky Mark in 'Shooter'. Yuch.
When I got home Istupidly luckily turned on my tv and got caught by CSI S7Ep11 'Leaving Las Vegas', with the adorable uncomfortable scene between Grissom and Nick. Heh.
Anyway, here is my progress in reading...
Reading on the bus: What Is The What by Dave Eggers
Page: 342 of 475
Reading in bed: Lichamelijke oefening by Midas Dekkers
Still stuck on page: 69 of 339 (but I'm planning to continue this tonight)
Quote from 'What Is The What':
"Too often they tell me to answer my doubts with prayer, which seems very much like adressing one's hunger by thinking of food."
Also? I pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7) - the Adult Edition;). It will be delivered to my doorstep, right on time for my summervacation, woohoo!
I'm planning to re-read book 6 first plus I want to sit down for a movie-marathon in preparation of Film 5: Order Of The Phoenix, which will be released here at July 12. Wanna join me?

Date: 2007-04-10 09:33 pm (UTC)Movie marathon sounds awesome though. I haven't seen Goblet since the premiere, when me and Inge freaked out all the kiddies in the theatre by going 'hmmmmmmmm' whenever David Tennant was on screen. Ahem.

Date: 2007-04-10 09:54 pm (UTC)I've been desperately trying to remember David's Barty, but failed. Now I definitely have to sit down to watch Goblet again(the sacrifice is enormous;). Why I will torture myself by watching the other three movies first, I don't know... Well, I do, but it'll make me sound like a perv, so let's say it's delayed gratification *g*.
I'm currently in the middle of planning my CSI-marathon with Sillie. I could give you an option of dates as soon as that's settled? Because I'm not just saying you're welcome to visit. You really are wholeheartedly invited to come over. And squee with me;)
