Full of good intentions
Jul. 4th, 2007 08:53 pmThis is probably not the best idea with the hormones raging (not the sexy kind, but the ones with an attitude) but I'm gonna spend some time in the kitchen tonight. Mom is coming over for diner tomorrow and I figure I won't be able to focus right after work, so I will be preparing the food in advance... I'm going to make traditional Bobotie and instead of getting an easy packet with all the ingredients ready to go like usual, this time I will be using a recipe. I will have to break eggs and everything! Oh dear. Hmmm, I'm used to making it with bananas and raisins, but this one tells me to use apricot jam and almonds, which sounds interesting.
If it doesn't turn out too disgusting, there might be pictures later...

And yay, chocolate to keep the hormones in tow, clever thinking! I'll send the brownie recipe right along with the rest, hehe.
