This is me asking for your attention...
Aug. 7th, 2007 08:05 pmMan, the internetz is quiet today. Anybody else as bored as I am?
To entertain you (and pimp my blogs;) here are some linkies to my other corners. Go forth and report back to me when you're done, pretty please. I love comments, good, bad or ugly.
I treated myself to DVD's and books today: check out the goodies! (who wants to come over for a Hornblower marathon? I already found fanfic *g*)
Have you seen my finished Livingroomproject? (Is it me or is the room suddenly a lot bigger?)
The Goldstar icon and banner project is now available with commentary (or go to the pretty here if you only want to grab some icons;)
If I ever have to disappear, I'll probably hide in My GreatestJournal
I made an archive of my Livejournal on my harddisk. You can do that too!
I've finally watched Dr. Who eppie 'Blink'. Now I'm in love all over again.
"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear non-subjective view point, it's more like a big ball of wibley-wobbley ... timey-wimey ... stuff." *huggles Doctor*

2. Yes he does. Number Ten is awesome. I still have to check out Nine, I've heard good things about him and Tanni was nice enough to lend me some eppies on DVD. I think I might do a marathon this weekend;)
3. I've never seen a complete episode, but those men in uniform: wrraahwr *paws* I just couldn't resist the box-set:) I've found one fansite with fiction. I haven't read any yet, so I've got no idea if it's any good, but I will surely check it out as soon as I've watched the DVD's: Horny! Horny!
4. That was a gorgeous Robin Hood, but my brain is too busy with Harry Potter
pornfanfic at the moment. And CSI of course *g*. But when those fandoms happen to implode for being too obscene, I might take a trip into the woods;)no subject
Date: 2007-08-07 07:24 pm (UTC)HP is better now that they're growing up a bit. i just can't seem to get my head around slashing characters who are the same age as my own children.
horatio just has to be slashed with archie. 'tis the only way to go - but you really haven't lived until you've read robin of sherwood/will scarlet (that is to say, michael praed/ray winstone)
just my opinion.
p.s. nick/greg still rule. :)

Date: 2007-08-07 07:37 pm (UTC)It's tempting to try another fandom, but I've only just discovered HP-fanfic, so that's why I feel there is still a lot of exploring to do in that massive archive - while it's still available...
Yes they do:) I will always be faithful to my first OTP. (Well, I've read Buffy/Angel/Spike in all combo's when I started my web-life - but that's canon, really;)

Date: 2007-08-08 08:01 am (UTC)Hornblower! Me, me, pick me! *jumps up and down, waving her arms not at all being pathetic*
I have the same boxset, only mine has only 4 episodes. I had to buy the last three episodes separately. And which is this fanfic you speak of? Does it feature Mr. Kennedy? (Because aw, Jamie Bamber is so cute and young there! *pets*)
I'm so setting up an extra online home at GL next week. Hmm, icon orgy.
And I'm SO happy with the Goldstar project, hee! Best motivational technique ever. Why did none of my professors know this? ;) *hugs you tight*
So, what will you do now that the living room project is finished? :D

Date: 2007-08-08 04:29 pm (UTC)You are hereby invited for an official Hornblower-marathon:) You might have to teach me about that series though, because I don't know any of the men you speak of. I have only seen snippets, but I love Ioan:) While I was researching, I found a link to fanfic, but I won't go there until I've seen at least a couple of eppies.
Four episodes? My boxset has 6 DVD's, sounds like a lot more. (Or maybe it's five, I'm not at home right now, so can't check, but it's still way more than yours:-p)
OMG orgy, YES! *hugs back*
Well, I had planned to continue with the CSI-hairguides, in fact I
got very distractedstarted collecting Greg's season 2 haircuts yesterday. But now that I don't have a computer, I'm gonna have to find something to do in the real world, hrmpf.no subject
Date: 2007-08-08 06:02 pm (UTC)I just saved the fic in case I decide to call it an early night, hee ;)! And yup, my bx looks the same but only has DVDs. It's from a more primitive era ;).
Whatever will you do in this 'real world'? :| (Ooo, you could read the prologue you the trilogy you weren't gonna read *evilgrin*.)

Did you start reading yet? I'm very
nervouscurious to hear what you think of it.no subject
Date: 2007-08-18 07:16 pm (UTC)And sure! As long as it's not the weekend of The Move (Sept. 8-9), I should be fine ;). The thesis presentation tends to be on a weekday, I can't imagine that they'll be bothered to do it on a Saturday, hehe.
I haven't, but I'm starting as soon as I finish reading my Neil Gaiman book, which should be tonight or tomorrow. I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts on it
in excruciating detail;).(My mom finished DH today. There was sooo much fangirling at dinner, up to the point where my dad sighed, picked up his plate and went to the living room 'because the tv chatters less'. Heh.)
