Working overtime paid off: I got the job done! Tonight I even managed to catch the seven o'clock bus, woohoo: weekend! My brain is still too fried and tired to focus on fun stuff on the computer at home after being busy designing all week, boooh. But I might do a bit of fiddling tomorrow before I travel south to spend time with brotherdearest. On Sunday I'll make him get up early so we can be at The Efteling when the doors open (10 am, it's about an hour and a half by train and bus from his house;). The prettiest attraction park in the world will be open until 9 pm, so it will be a loooooong day in fairytale-land:-D. Maybe there will be pictures later.
Speaking of pictures: I promised photos of my trip to Amsterdam with mom. That was the only travelling I was able to do during my vacation. Maybe that's why we went a bit touristy;) Still: we had a great day:)
I'm gonna go to bed early again. Well, before midnight anyway. What? I can totally do it.

Date: 2007-08-25 05:03 pm (UTC)The A'dam pics rock! I didn't recognize anything at all, oopsie ;). The picture-of-a-picture of the Spencer Tunick models on the bridge looks awesome. Love the last pic, with your mom wading through the virtual pond. I came across a digital floor at an exhibit once, where the tiles cracked and fell down when you stepped on them. Very Cool.

Date: 2007-08-27 10:17 am (UTC)Ahw, thanks. Usually mom and I walk straight from the station to the Dam and start shopping (Bijenkorf and on to the Kalverstraat) But the search for the pictures led us to the West-side of town, so eventually we approached Damsquare from another direction - I don't think I even remember where the hell we went, but it was fun:)
I saw another one of those digital ponds in the Efteling's Pandadroom yesterday. I want one at home, it's so cool:)

Date: 2007-08-27 12:17 pm (UTC)I have no idea where we went, the last time we were in A'dam. We went to the Hermitage Museum though, but that's freaking far away from the Kalverstraat iirc. It was a gorgeous neighborhood though. I love the kind of places you find when you just walk at random.
Heh, get one! I'm sure they're totally cheap ;).

Date: 2007-08-27 03:00 pm (UTC)Heh, it looks like I'm getting soaked in that one picture, but honestly it wasn't that bad :-p My brother got a good splash though *veg*
I see if I can find out if that gadget is worth dreaming about;)

Date: 2007-08-27 06:37 pm (UTC)I've always loved the wild water rides more than anything else. Too bad the weather is rarely ideal for it.

Date: 2007-08-28 07:27 pm (UTC)I prefer more entertainment on my rides than simply going round and round or get wet; the Efteling has enough stuff for everyone's taste:) I don't mind when it's a bit colder (we had proper summer temperatures on Sunday) as long as it's not raining, that's the wrong kind of water;)
