Time for a different kind of moaning: hot women-meme

In between whining about the job and doing laundry for the second day in a row (I have to make good use of the final sunshine of the season;) I've also managed to finally collect all the necessary pretty for another picture-meme.

A while ago tanisafan decided the original Hot Guys Meme needed a counterpart, so I had to find Five Hot Women (such a chore). I wanted to follow the same rules and tried to pick women from my own generation, but I failed *g*. So I'm posting pictures of six women, in order to at least get the average age right -sort of- :) I did manage to step away from my usual harem, but I'm not satisfied with all the photos I found, so I've added some links to clips of the ladies in motion, to show you why they made the list:)

Sophie Hilbrand - 5 oktober 1975, The Netherlands

Only famous in the Netherlands for now, but one day she will conquer the world and then you will remember you saw her here first:) A presenter of various programs, most famous for "Spuiten en slikken" (Shoot (up) or Swallow) an experimental and informative talk show about sex and drugs (bet that title makes sense now;) She is currently making her first movie with boyfriend Waldemar Torenstra, who happens to be high on my list of shaggable men. If I was to make a list of fantasy-threesomes, those two would be number 1. Guh.

Louise Lombard - 13 September 1970, UK

She's pretty hot as Sofia in CSI, but I recently learned I fancied her in another lifetime, when she was playing Evie in The House Of Elliott. I had not recognized her. *slaps self* Bad fangirl! As penance, I'm linking to two clips;)

Natalie Maines - 14 October 1974, USA

I had not heard of her until I saw Shut Up And Sing and I immediately fell in lust love. What an amazing woman. And I love this song

Zooey Deschanel - 17 January 1980, USA

So young, but so pretty. I first noticed her in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Those eyes: blam!

Sigourney Weaver - 8 October 1949, USA

A heroine of mine ever since Ghostbusters (I didn't see Alien(s) until years later;). I last saw her in Snow Cake and despite my reservations about actors playing mental 'patients', she managed to win me over - again.

Parker Posey - 8 November 1968, USA

She's quirky and picks mostly very strange projects, but she held her own when working with OTT Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns, which makes her an amazing actress in my book. Awesome. She's hilarious.

Anmani and I once concluded that we have the same taste in men but not in women... and I see two of the women Anmani has mentioned on you list. I however would have picked different women.... maybe I shall try, huh?

I don't think I have a certain type when it comes to looks, but I certainly have a preference for strong, independent women.

Yay, I'm finally getting the time to look at these properly (oh, the chore ;). YAY for Louise Lombard and Natalie Maines because oh my, I have such a crush on them. I really love the video for Not Ready To Make Nice a whole lot, and the emotion in her voice as she sings it still gives me chills.
Damn it, I need to reorder that DVD, the first time it was 'unavailable'. Bastards.

And oo, Zooey Deschanel, good choice. Even though I liked her even more in Almost famous than I did in HGttG (because OMG, stewardess outfit :P), you can't go wrong with that movie. Hee. Sigourney Weaver and Parker Posey wouldn't be on my lists, but I love them both as actresses, especially Parker. And sadly, I don't know the Dutch lady, but that clip amuses me greatly! ;)

Dude, I was so embarrassed when I realised I had known Louise Lombard back when she was British. The DC's song does the same to me.

Ooooh, I don't remember her in Almost Famous, I'm really a bad fangirl. I also need to see a lot more Parker-films.

Sophie is adorable. Did you read the explanation about that clip? You should have seen the faces of the news-presenters when they came on right after her punchlines. They were obviously not amused. Heh.

I knew her from Almost Famous before I saw HGttG but then, I've seen Almost Famous almost a dozen times. I can't help it, Billy Crudup looks so scruffy and scrumptious! Plus, Kate Hudson. Never bad.

I recently saw a film called The Oh in Ohio, which I loved. It had Parker Posey in the lead, and Paul Rudd and Danny DeVito as her antagonists, and it was basically a comedy about a woman who has never had an orgasm and thinks it's high time. I was pleasantly surprised by it :).

No, no, no, not scrumptious; guy's got a 'stache! *is shocked* Don't get me wrong, Billy is delicious, but that thing on his face is just such a turn off. Stage Beauty: yes, Almost Famous: no.

Damn it, you sound like, um, everyone I know *blushes*. I can't help it, I think he never looked hotter than he did in Almost Famous (although Stage Beauty is a really close second, because it plays on so many of my kinks *g*). It may be because I was raised by mullet rock fanatics. My dad still organises DVD viewings of AC/DC concerts for us, and my grandad did Queen imitations on taple tops until he was at least sixty. Shirtless.

Good times. So yes, they have brainwashed me into liking men with sideburns, 'staches and scruff. You may totally blame them *allows*.

And it wasn't an amazing movie or anything, but as far as the low-budget romantic comedy genre goes, this one actually made me smile and not throw things at my screen (yes, Sienna Miller, I'm looking at you).

Thanks for that visual. Really not helping to convince me about the 'stach or the scruff. *shivers* I do however have no defence-system against the sideburns.
