Knock on wood...

I am aware I run the risk of jinxing the healing-process, but I figured it is about time I posted some happy stuff. So I'm gonna keep the grumbles to myself -for now- and treat you to a list of things that made me smile this week:

My feet -that were damaged because I had to work standing up for months- have recovered! Thanks to an amazing cream the cuts have almost dissapeared. Amsterdam, here I come!*

My back is nearly back to normal: I'm pretty bendable again. Mornings are not perfect yet, but in the afternoons I'm able to wipe my butt like a grown up. (I'm sorry, was that TMI? I'm just so very thrilled about this:)

Last week's CSI (Bull!) was very enjoyable. VERY enjoyable. The cases were interesting enough, but more importantly: all my favorite CSIs were doing a great job. Oh and there were cowboys. I'd go into more detail, but I don't want to spoil you. Watch it and come back to squee.

The countdown to Season 2 of Torchwood has ended: first new episode will be shown tonight on BBC 2 at 22.00 (10.00 pm CET). I'll be there. Join me if you can!

First I thought you were going to talk about a CSI episode, since I was very convinced that "Knock on wood" was an eppy title... But of course, it's not a CSI eppy title, it's a little einsteins eppy title (one that Amaya watch over and over...)

Good to hear good news!
I am squeeing about "Bull", it gives me hope.. for whenever the writers decide to come back to the writing table.

Oh... I wish I had BBC 2, I don't of course (I have BBC prime and BBC food, but that doesn't help much)
But maybe there is hope somewhere?

And since I'm sure you wonder what the Knock on wood episode is all about, here's a little summary:
The gang heads toward the Big Woods in Arkansas and meet an Ivory-billed Woodpecker named Tapper and finds out that it looking for a friend and the gang decides to take it to the top of the Ozark Mountains. Will Tapper ever find a friend?

Interresting, yes? Hehe (God, I'm such a mommy)

Bull will get us through the drought. I fear it's gonna be a long time before there will be a new episode. I heard if the writer's strike is going to last, this might have been the last of the season!! OHnoz! - It's a good thing we have Torchwood now :-) (I read you managed to watch it despite the lack of BBC - praise be the internetz:)

I'm guessing Tapper will find loads of friends *g*

Yay indeed - though the meeting today did make my back twitch. But I'm determined not to be stopped from going to Amsterdam. I got loads of money. Well, I can pretend:)

Heh, haven't seen Bull yet, but I did see a small clip of the boys being adorable. It was probably good I wasn't drinking anything at the time, because there was much giggling and snorting. *nods* :D

Torchwood... watched it, and I might be an Ianto fan. :P

Saturday... what's a good time for you? Around ten, half past ten? Or is that to early? And where... uh, at the little Free Record Shop at Amsterdam Central?

Yay! Another fangirl! I'm an Owen-gal myself, so at least we don't have to fight;) Did you catch any episodes of the first season? Iirc you limited yourself to SuperNatural (and CSI of course - did you see tonight's classic eppie? Rock on!)

Hah, yeah, I keep getting distracted by Supernatural, but I did watch some Torchwood season 1. I believe I made it to episode 6, with the freaky town who eat other people? O.o I'm slowly working my way trough it. :P
