Angels in America in Arnhem [picspam]

Spent most of Saturday in Arnhem with brotherdearest, his gf and my mom. After a quick lunch and some shopping (for Mother's Day;) we went to see Angels In America: a stageplay in two parts of two-and-a-half hours each. It was awesome. (Especially the cursing worked even better in Dutch, you gotta love our hard g's *g*)

Afterwards we had dinner at Tony's Wok Away...

Also: I wore my new shoes for the first time.

What are they doing to that poor goat in the statue? It looks like they're about to hang it from the wires!

Heh. The wires are across the road, not even near the statue on the pavement, don't worry. It's not a goat, because the statue is called "The dance around the golden calf". (Now, what does it say about the Dutch that our major film-awards are called Golden Calves?) Dance, dance.
